Bottom of the Blue

Dive into "Bottom of the Blue", an immersive underwater exploration game where you navigate the deep sea as a blue tang, uncovering hidden secrets and immerse yourself in the atmospheric underwater world.

Overview

In this 3D game you explore an open underwater world to unlock as much achievements as possible. But beware to not swim too far out, because you might be easy catch for predators.

The goal in this game is to explore and have a good time.

You control the character by using W, S, A, D for movement and looking around with your mouse. With holding Shift, you have a limited sprint. Use Space to swim upwards and X/C to swim downwards.

Achievements are listed in the menu (ESC) where you only see the title and an image for unachieved entries.

Behind the scenes

The game was developed using Godot Engine and C#. The graphical assets are made by myself. The sounds and music are third-party assets. This game was created in a week as a submission for the game jam "Fish Fest".

Downloads

Windows & Linux builds are successfully tested (Linux build was tested on Steam Deck and works if you configure your controls accordingly :)).
